The last few months have been really busy with the Circuit Paul Ricard 1000kms race followed by the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Total 24 hours of Spa. We managed a great result in the Circuit Paul Ricard 1000kms where, after a close battle with Ferrari, we managed to take home 1st place – especially sweet after being pipped on the last lap last year!
[Speaking of the Circuit Paul Ricard 1000kms]: “Last year it was so hard talking about losing the victory. The team has done such a great job over the winter, working on the car, and our engineers have done a fantastic job as well. Jordan ran an absolutely amazing stint, Steven went from the lead to the lead – what else can I say? Massive thanks to Bentley, to M-Sport, and to my two teammates.”
Unfortunately, we didn’t get the result we wanted in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans but sometimes that’s how it works in endurance racing. However, I have been lucky to have my OGIO travel bags as we go from event to event. I’ve taken more than 30 flights in the last three months and I have to say that, without the quality and versatility of the bags, I would have struggled to bring all my racing stuff with me. Next month is the 8 Hours of Japan race which offers another chance to shine (as well as another 12-hour flight for my OGIO bags).
